Wheels
Precisely machined. Perfectly matched. Polestar 2 comes with a choice of highly engineered alloy wheels, each designed to augment the natural presence of the car.
Design options
All available wheels get their own signature look, using the latest cutting and machining technology or Polestar's patented 3D laser-etching process. This ensures a high-quality finish, while maintaining uncompromising standards for safety, handling, and performance.
Headlights
Polestar 2's LED headlights combine energy-efficiency with an intricate, origami-inspired design.
Pixel LED headlights with active high beam
The safety-enhancing Pixel LED headlights automatically switch from high to low beam, if their camera sensors detect approaching vehicles' headlights or taillights of cars directly ahead.
LED front fog lights with cornering function
A better view at every turn. At speeds below 19 miles per hour, the LED front fog lights illuminate the area close to the car when cornering or using the indicators, making it easier to judge curves and intersections.

Adaptive rear light blade
Pairing a futuristic shape with forward-thinking technology, the rear light blade uses 288 individually controlled LEDs to adjust to various driving situations. It shines brighter on sunny days to improve visibility, adapts to the dark to save power and displays a welcome or farewell sequence when the driver touches the door handle.
Door mirrors
Frameless design
Reflection reinvented. Polestar's signature door mirrors reduce the size of the enclosure around the glass, maximizing the field of view and cutting the volume of the entire mirror unit by 30%. The result is a distinctive, minimalist design with less drag.

Deco
Light Ash deco
Making better use of the available wood, Light Ash deco gets its unique look from the natural grain structure rather than the optical color shifts in traditional car veneers. A more sustainable approach that reduces scrap wood and increases the level of refinement.

Seating
Exceptional ergonomics. Polestar 2's seats have been designed to offer optimal support in all driving situations. No matter the length of the trip or the style of driving, the shape and structure of the seats will provide continuous comfort.
Heated front seats with power lumbar support
Always in the right driving position. Polestar 2 comes with heated front seats as standard, including electrically adjustable four-way lumbar support to meet the needs of various drivers and passengers. The driver's seat also includes a memory function, automatically adapting to personal seating preferences by recognizing the Polestar 2 key.
Heated rear seats
Polestar 2's rear seats are designed to the same ergonomic principles as the front seats, ensuring optimal support regardless of the number of miles driven. The two outer seats can be upgraded with electric heating, featuring separate temperature controls for each passenger.

Displays
The digital displays integrated into Polestar 2's dashboard provide the latest in driver information technology without overwhelming the senses. With a design focused on intuitiveness, the interface is instantly familiar, while the screens' quality and touch sensitivity add to the user-friendliness.
Cabin comfort
Air quality
Time for a breath of fresh air. Literally. The advanced air quality system detects pollutants and pollen and immediately adjusts the passenger compartment filter to help keep them out.

Interior lighting
Small details make a big impact. Like the crisp, white ambient lighting that contributes to the interior atmosphere and makes it easier to find things in the dark.
Performance
Chassis
A car with good handling responds predictably, regardless of the road surface or driving conditions. The Polestar 2 chassis integrates the battery and pairs high torsional stiffness with a low center of gravity to ensure a responsive, assertive drive.
Powertrains
The optimal power and torque for every driving situation. Polestar 2 is available with two electric powertrain options, making it easy to adapt its performance to the driver's personal preferences and driving environment.
All-wheel or rear-wheel drive
Polestar 2 comes with an all-wheel drive or a rear-wheel drive powertrain, both optimized for performance and driver engagement. The newly developed asynchronous front motor, permanent magnet rear motor and silicon carbide inverter increase efficiency and torque, while the all-wheel drive system can disengage the front axle to further reduce energy consumption.
